People looking for hypnotherapy training, are faced with a daunting task.

So many schools offering such a vast array of options. Choosing the best hypnotherapy college is virtually impossible – the trick is not to make a bad choice. So, what might a bad choice look like?

To paraphrase the Cheshire cat, ‘I guess that all depends upon where you want to get to’. Let’s suppose I’m a carpenter, coming to fix some shelving at your home. I arrive in a brand new, state-of-the-art JCB. It may be a fantastic piece of kit, but does it add to the making of your shelves? Of course not.

So why is it that hypnotherapy training schools insist upon loading their courses with stuff that actually makes hypnotherapists LESS effective? I figure they either do not understand how the subconscious mind works, or they’re ripping you off. Okay, in their defense, there is mounting pressure to make hypnotherapy training courses bulkier. That’s because the academics have taken over the asylum.

FACT – nobody’s psychological problem is ever intellectual in nature; it is emotional. So understanding the problem (which isn’t actually the problem) will have little or no effect. All the Cognitive, Psycho, Analytical, Clinical Hypnotherapy just makes a very simple procedure too complex. You might as well show up in the JCB!

Here’s the question –

Do you want to be a really effective craftsman, or do you just want to load up with gadgets?
